WI: Bleeding Kansas became a Slave State?

Was Bleeding Kansas was possible to have to make the territory become a Slave State or at least a Border State?

And in any so how can it be swerved from being a Free State during the time and how could the slave state function during the Civil War?

Whelp...when the Civil War emerges...the slave faction will be in a better position to say the least. The outcome would also depend on if Kansas became or remained a slave state.

Depends on whether the Slave state leaders are smart enough to stay loyal to the Union.

If so, Kansas keeps slavery to Dec 1865, like Kentucky and Delaware. If they try to secede, it's probably gone by 1864, as in Missouri - maybe sooner as the antislavery element is probably larger.

Jayhawkers were not known for their pro-slavery views. The population was so Abolitionist that pro-slavery elements had to attack out of southwest Missouri into "bleeding" Kansas for lack of local supporters IN Kansas. I question whether investing in slavery in Kansas was going to be economically viable. Too many people available to aid runaways, local constabularies looking the other way, and proslavery adherents more likely to settle in Texas than Kansas.
