WI Blanche Capet was born a boy instead?

In 1 February 1328 King Charles IV of France died aged 34... He had a daughter Marie by his third wife Jeanne d'Evreux and no male heir... However at the time of his death Jeanne was already pregnant on their second child... Philippe de Valois (who was next in line of succession and member of the second most senior branch of the Capet dynasty) was appointed Regent until Jeanne gives birth...
In April 1328 Jeanne gave birth to another daughter Blanche and Regent Philippe became King as Philippe VI...
WI Jeanne gave birth to a boy instead of a girl (lets name the boy Charles).
Could the infant Charles V prevented the Hundred Years War and lead Edward III to abandon his French claims? How is his birth altering History?

The minority King would have had the right to Navarre, so it would have stayed with the French kingdom, so it would probably eliminate the OTL resolution of the French Wars of Religion as well. You would also hope that Charles V would live longer as a result of the different gender and perhaps greater care with him as a result.

Since Philip VI chose her as a consort, it is possible that Charles V would have married Blanche d'Evreux.

Would that have stopped Edward III? I think that depends on how early Charles V would die and what his offspring situation looks like. The Capetian main line was pretty tenuous.

If Philippe de Valois is greedy enough he might had arranged an accident for his young nephew...
King Philippe V was accused for being responsible for the death of the infant Jean I... Its the exact same scenario...

They would remain Capetians per se, without the Valois surname attached to them (since Valois was a dukedom first). Not necessarily much of a fact, but the first one that comes to mind !

Edward III would probably have stayed his hand rather than claim France for himself. He had claims to Aquitaine/Gascony that started all this - would Charles V have been less intransigent about the need for obeisance than Philippe was ? Or would the fact that Philippe is only Regent remove the whole question and make the struggle only over the extent of England's holdings in the South ?

Was not Edward III also later a warden of the HRE or something (where he got his troops from for the wars) ? Would this have played out differently if there were no war with France ?

Best Regards

As i see it now Edward III could have started a war against the infant King but he wouldnt claim the French Crown... only his inheritence in Aquitaine... It depends if the infant King lives long enough to father a son... If he dies young succession is open to Edward III or his descendants... But still English would have claimed Aquitaine...
