WI: Bismarck ruled until he died

Otto Von Bismarck was a very influential man who effected history greatly and considered the ultimate realists and practicioner of realpolitik. However, he eventually had to resign and lost the powers he once had.

What if Bismarck continued to have as much power as he did throughout his time as Chancellor until he died?

I don't think 8 years would've done much to change the turn of events, unless of course he managed to forge stronger ties with Britain, which might advert WW1 as we knew it.

I was thinking more since, the emperor Wilhelm II opposed Bismarck and he wasn't able to get anything done under Wilhelm II in his last years as Chancellor.

I believe that Bismarck once blurted out his plan to Friedrich II, he said he wanted to provoke the socialists enough to get them to retaliate and use that as a excuse to crush them. Of course Friedrich opposed him and he couldn't get the plan done.

Any thoughts regarding this?
