WI Bill Clinton is never born

Maybe his parentes acted differently one day, maybe a girl is conceived, maybe there is a misscarriage.

Who seeks the Democrat nomination in 1992?

Does Hilary Rodham have a political career?

What happens to Arkansas politics?

I am kind of guessng that Al Gore is nominated and elected?

Who would be his VP?

Jerry Brown came in 2nd for the primaries (and the Convention, I believe).

Why not him? He's from California, so he could have Southern Al Gore on the ticket as a balance.

What happens to Arkansas politics?

Probably stays largely Republican. Even Bill couldn't keep it Democratic in the long run.

Does Hilary Rodham Clinton have a political career?

Maybe, she helped in Goldwater's campaign IIRC. It wouldn't be the same without being married to Bill, though.

Gore would not have run in 1992, his son was still recovering after being hit by a car.

Without Clinton, I assume Tsongas would have gotten the nomination, or perhaps as a young, charismatic, centrist former Governor and Senator, Kerrey could have received many of the Clinton votes.

I believe Hillary left a job as counsel for the Democratic caucus in Congress to follow Bill down to Arkansas, so it's possible she could have been an influential lifer on the hill.

Without Clinton, Tsongas probably sweeps the Primaries.

Gore would still be a likely candidate for VP, though so would Kerrey and Gepheardt.

Tsongas does not win Clinton's Southern support, but wins Northern Perot voters.
He wins and that means we increase the job stress of someone dying of cancer. OTL he lived until 1997. ITTL, I assume he dies sooner.

No Bubba in 1992 means it would most likely be Tsongas on paper, but Tsongas was such an odd, uninspiring candidate that there's plenty of potential for Kerrey, who was probably most similar as a candidate to Clinton. Someone like Tsongas is, and was, really a bad fit after Dukakis only four years earlier.

As far as Hillary, she would still definitely be in politics, but would probably be more of a functionary.

IOTL, her gamble paid off when her (relatively) new husband managed to get elected AR attorney general and then governor. She then did anything and everything to gather money and enhance his power and put up with anything to stay close to the power. She really hit it big when he got elected President and then put up with ANYTHING to stay close to the power. Then, once he was out of the WH, she started building her own power using his constituencies and money.
