She would have lost the elections, her party could not win a majority despite the symphty vote in OTL.

She does not get assasinated, I think Musharraf would still be in power today. His party in the OTL election won the largest amount of votes, despite being very unpopular after the assasination.

Here's the results of the 2008 election, for reference

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pakistani_general_election,_2008#National_Assembly

The PPP (Bhutto's party) got a plurality at 30%, and the PML (N) (the party of Nawaz Sharif, who was even more anti-Musharaff than Bhutto was*) got 20%. The PML (Q) (Musharaff's main allies) got 23%, and the MQM (Musharaff's other allies) got 7%.

So, add together all the totals, and its about 50% anti-Musharaff vs. 30% pro-Musharaff. Thats a big gap for Musharaff to make up, especially when you consider that Benazir being killed made her husband, who has been dogged by numerous corruption allegations (in Pakistan, he's apparently known as "Mr. 10%" for the cut he took off government contracts), into the PPP's default leader-and they still won...

*Not surprising since Nawaz Sharif was the guy Musharaff overthrew to get into power
