WI:Bavarian Socialist republic wasn't annexed by Germany in 1919?

What if the german loyalists didn't crush the bavarian red army?Or if people from diffrent parts of Germany decided to rebel, they could have completely destroyed the republic?
What do you would have happened and what is te most realistic way for the BSR to stay in power?

It would weaken Germany in two ways, one they lose a great deal of territory, second they will feal constrained by possibly surrounded by two Socialist/Communist countries, depending on how the Russo Polish War goes.

If Bavaria remained separate from Germany and was still a communist regime, then I can see a different take on the Beer Hall Putsch. The goal for Hitler and his followers in 1923 would likely be to overthrow Bavaria's government and either annex back into Germany, or make a new regime based on National Socialism. The possibilities are endless, but it's likely that the Bavarian Socialist Republic won't stay independent for long.

Jesus Christ you are Making Hero out of Adolph FUCKING Hitler.
That would be insane Timeline :)

How much of Bavaria did this "Republic" actually control?

Pretty much just Munich, the rest of Bavaria was very conservative and never really fell under communist control.

The easiest way for an "independent" communist Bavaria to survive would be to have the Spartikus revolt succeed. At the very least the leadership of the Bavarian Republic need to be less terrible because OTL they were actually nuts. One minister declared war on Switzerland because they wouldn't lend them a train.
