As it says what if the battle of Nasbey ended with Cromwell dead. Also with the whole parlimentory arm beatean, how would it affect history, would Charles remai on the throne:confused:

Well I guess the Royalists could have won Nasby if Goring had obeyed orders and come to join the royalist army.

That would have given them around 7000 horse against the 6000 round heads.

Most accounts of the battle suguest that the royalist Infantry were better than their opponents man for man so if they can win the cavalry battles and flank the centre a 'crushing' victory is possible. Instead of 5000 captured royalists maybe the same number of captured parliamentarians?

Goring + Langdale would probably been a large enough force to defeat Cromwells troops and historically Rupert won on his wing.

You would also need to have the Royalists be able to control their cavalry better to rally them after wining a fight so as to be able to support the centre.

So two PODs? Goring turns up and the royalists have at least minimal control of their horse once it is unleased in a charge?
