What if Battle of Mu'tah Byzantines vs Arabs
OTL Battle of Mu'tah occurred in 629 between Byzantine and Muslim Arab forces. The Byzantines won the battle but the victory was not decisive and due to the effort of Khaid bin Walid the Arab army was able to slip away. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mu'tah
What if the outcome of the battle had of been different? A) Decisive Byzantine victory in which the Arab army is destroyed and Khalid is killed. B) Muslim victory with the Emperor Heraclius' brother Theodore being killed and the Byzantine army destroyed.
Would would be the results of either A and B? Would Muhammad still be able to take Mecca? Would the Byzantines be better prepared for Yarmouk and take the Arab threat more seriously?
