I was looking at some loss figures again for USSR in 1941, and while i really don't have the grasp of others on the battles and geography of Barbarossa, i was thinking of the impact a reasonably better prepared USSR making better use of their huge numbers, not only bleeding the germans much more badly in summer/autumn 1941 and have them run out of steam much further west, but also imagine that the soviets lose overall say only 2/3 of the men, tanks and aircraft compared to OTL, imagine the effect of them having say another 5000 tanks, 5000 aircraft and several tens of extra divisions for their winter offensive against the germans! Collapse of the german front like in OTL 1944?
