The war ended with a huge victory for the Austrians at St. Gotthard. But instead of a war to liberate Hungary, Leopold I made a peace. Is there a possibility they actually free those lands from the Ottomans? Maybe Lepold could change his mind (highly unlikely) or if Ferdinand IV lives, maybe he makes some different decisions (he was definetly different from Leopold). There is also a possibility of something like a Holy League with Venice which was already fighting a war (Candian War) with the Ottomans, the Pope and Poland, though Poland was somewhat tired from the Deluge, they could still help, atleast in Upper Hungary. I know the French and German troops weren't keen on the war, but maybe some troops, like the Bavarians could stay and help, especially with a different war, and some more troops would be raised in Bohemia and Austria. And also the sieges of Novi Zrin and Nagykanizsa; if the Ottomans were defeated there, war could also take a different course.
