The battle of Grocka was a decisive defeat for Austria by the Ottoman Empire and came as a shock after the winning streak under Eugene of Savoy. The Austrian army had been instructed to meet the Ottomans in combat as soon as possible so the Austrian cavalry rushed to engage the better prepared an numerically superior Ottoman forces. After the staggering defeat the Austrian nobility became eager for peace and lost all of their Balkans conquests. So what if the Austrian cavalry don't leave the Savoy infantry behind and engage the Ottomans in a place that is less advantageous to the Ottoman position and defeat the Ottomans?
