So I recently read an article about how Fox News makes America 4 to 8% more conservative than it should be:

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/9/8/16263710/fox-news-presidential-vote-study

Since it is owned by Newscorp and, by extension, Rupert Murdoch who has a stranglehold on Australian politics via media ownership it got me thinking a bit. What would a world look like if Australia was 4% more progressive overall? I'm talking about since the beginning of federation in 1901 but you can go later if you want like say the 1980s or early 2000s?

What kind policies would be put place and how different would Australia be?

You know it’s very clearly stated that current politics belongs in Chat? There’s no way for a thread like this not to delve into current politics.

Australian politics aren’t on a spectrum but rather have disjunctures. To quote the Australian IWW on parliamentary cretinism: Oh yes I am a labor man I believe in revolution the quickest way to bring it on is talking constitution.

Closed per posted policy on current politics outside of Chat.

To the OP: You REALLY need to start following POSTED policy.
