Australia would have had 10 colonies:

· Queen Victoria in southwestern Australia (not to be confused with the modern Victoria).
· Tasmania in Western Australia (not to be confused with the modern Tasmania).
· Nuytsland near the Nullarbor Plain.
· Carpentaria south of the Gulf of Carpentaria.
· Flindersland in south central Australia.
· Torresia in northern Queensland.
· Cooksland centred around Brisbane.
· Guelphia in southeastern Australia.
· Van Diemen's Land in modern day Tasmania.
