WI Attila invades Eastern Roman Empire instead of Western?

In OTL Eastern Emperor Theodosius II accepted a tribute to Attila purportedly 300 kg (700 lb) of gold) in order to stop the Hunnic raids in Thrace and the Balkans...
His succesor Marcian however refused to pay this tribute but Attila was too busy in the West to deal with Marcian...
WI Attila concluded a hasty peace with Aetius and invaded ERE in order to claim his gold?
Could WRE had survived for a longer time?
Is it possible for Aetius (having secured that the Huns would be busy attacking Marcian) to deal with the Visigoths in Spain or try to reconquer Britain?
Any thoughts?

Actually Attila invade WRE on the pretext that he wasnt given Honoria and her "dowry" (which would be half WRE...)
My WI is about Attila dumbing Honoria and turns to the East claiming a more realistic target...

Aetius would go for Africa. Britannia is too far, Hispania is secure under the Visigoths (who are loyal vassals of Rome at this time) and the Vandal piracy is a menace for Rome itself.

Or why not make the letter she sent to Attila never read by him somehow ? Or just prevent Attila from being able to receive any notice from her, or even knowing her ?
