WI: Arabia under industrialized Ottomans

Like I inquired in regards to Egypt and Levant, it is a scenario where the Ottoman Empire succeeded in reformation and industrialized, how would Ottoman-ruled Arabia would turned out to be like after going through the empire-wide programs of industrialization?

I can imagined projects like the Hejaz railway happening earlier than OTL.

If this TL Ottoman Empire granted independence to the countries of Arabian peninsula, how would they turned out to be like?

Egypt has the earliest chance of industrialisation as done by Mehmed Ali Pasha. Although Iraq as well could have started in the 19th century as well considering the landscape is pretty much the same.

Egypt and Sudan as one country will suddenly make it the strongest Arab and African Country. Really influental. The may not be too different from todays Turkey, Northern Egypt beign more or less the Secular part while the poor South still conservative.

There won't be countries as Iraq, Syria or Palestine most likely. They will be likely one country, a federal state minus Northern Iraq and parts of Northern Syria. It will definitely be better than what we have today.

No Saudi Arabia. The Rashidi Emirate will rule most of it. So no financing weird religious organisation by the Saudi's.

The population density is too low and terrain too poor/lacking in natural resources for you to really get industrialization to take off in the Arabain desert. Ottoman industey and capital are going to be concentrated much fuether until Gulf oil, at which point you may start to see some refining/shipping centers pop up: probably in Kuwait/Basra area

Egypt can grow Cotton, seems good for textile industry. Sudan has oil for in the 20th century oil industry. Iraq, as you said can be a base for oil industry.

But populationwise it might be problematic. Unless we are allowed to twist that with a PoD.

I beleive we're talking about Arabia here, not Egypt-Sudan or the Levant (who, as the OP pointed out, are explicently covered in other threads.) So, at the broadest possible definition in my opinion is the southern two Vilyets in Mesopotamia and the Penninsula proper

I would like to see the idea of a 19th century industrializing Iraq developed. It is unique and nothing I have heard suggested before.
