WI: Anne Boleyn died during an epidemic?

In 1528, sweating sickness broke out in London, and the court was dispersed. Henry VIII left London, while Anne Boleyn retreated to the Boleyn residence at Hever Castle, but contracted the illness. Henry sent his own physician to Hever Castle to care for Anne, and shortly afterwards, she recovered.

This all happened during the King's Great Matter.

The question is, what if Anne succumbed to illness instead of recovering? Henry being the man that he is, would probably take this as an omen that his relationship with her was sinful. Would he then take back Catherine of Aragon, or pursue yet another marriage? And what of Princess Mary and Henry FitzRoy?

Well, it depends on how Catherine reacts. If she is smart she'll send people ahead of her to try and convince the King that this was God punishing Henry for doubting their union and Henry might be scared into coming back. If she herself berates him or some other family offers up an Anne replacement things may proceed much like OTL, just with a different (maybe more lucky) woman. A third option may be that Henry continues without a set replacement for Catherine and she finally understands that it wasn't Anne, it was Henry who wanted their marriage over. Unlikely, but still a possibility.
