Supposing the following two things happened:
1) Bob Clampett gets the green light to make a feature length animated adaptation of Princess of Mars, which is released as John Carter of Mars in 1938 (an idea previously discussed here)
2) Actors on the set of The Wizard of Oz are more seriously injured than OTL, killing the production (discussed here)
Also, WWII still essentially plays out as OTL. What are the effects on pop culture in the 1940's? Beyond? Does Science Fiction do better as a genre earlier? Does animation avoid the "children's age ghetto"? For that matter, how are children's/family films in general affected? And how do these effects ripple from there?
