WI: Andrew Jackson won in 1824

I've seen several asking what if John Q. Adams had won in 1824 without a corrupt bargain, or the claims of one. What I haven't seen is what would would happen if Jackson had won in 1824?

In the Mike Resnick book Alternate Presidents, there is a short story about that. I can't remember much about it, but I do remember it takes place sometime after Jackson wins in 24. From what I remember race relations were slightly better and Davey Crockett became president at some point.

The POD for my TL features the early death of William Crawford before the contingent election in 1825, which eventually allows Jackson to become president four years earlier than he did OTL.
