WI: Andrew Jackson keeps the "Republican" name

What if instead of changing the name of Jefferson's party to "Democratic", Jackson kept the "Republican" name? With the "Republican" name already taken, what would the party formed in 1854 call itself?

"Democratic" was originally an insult by his opposition, who tried to connect him to "mob rule", and then it became the official party name as supporters saw this term as good. Both the opposition and the "Democrats" called themselves "Republicans", so the term was rather meaningless.

In some states didn't it initially call itself the "People's Party"?

Of course, if it used that name, then forty years later the Populists would have to call themselves something else.
