WI: An Lushan's rebellion succeeds

What if An Lushan's 755-763 rebellion had succeeded in overthrowing the Tang and estabilishing a new dynasty (Yan) in China?

I hear that An Lushan had many turks, sogdians, and even arabs among his ranks. After the rebellion's failure, turkic/central asian influence in chinese culture and religion dwindled due to direct efforts of the Tang to curtail such. Could a success for Lushan's forces butterfly this away?

What were An Lushan's policy ideals, especially regarding administration, religion, and influence over Central Asia?

I also hear that the Tang were heavily indebted to the uyghurs after the end of the rebellion, and had to pay these debts by giving up the Tarim basin. Had An Lushan succeeded, could China keep its control over Xinjiang?

This China will likely be thoroughly wrecked for sure.In some places,Tang forces were basically fighting for every inch of land.Assuming An Lushan managed to conquer the land, his dynasty probably wouldn't last that long. The guy had huge health issues and I don't expect that he would survive for a long time. His sons probably won't have as much authority over his former subordinates--who will likely be semi-independent warlords in their own rights. He also introduced a rather bad example where you can seize the throne as long as you have the might to do so--which led to a rapid rise and fall of different dynasties and regimes during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdom period.

Ok, it's a WI, not a check. So we have to assume than An Lushan is militarily successful and finishes his conquest in... say 7 years. After that, the Tang claimant peacefully surrenders in exchange for... I dunno, maybe a fief? The uyghurs might claim the Yan have to respect the Tang's debts, and use nonpayment as an invasion excuse.

It would be impossible for the Tang emperor to surrender peacefully. After the Jin Dynasty,no former emperor of a previous dynasty had successfully lived more than a few years after their surrender. They were generally shown lenience publically only for a short while after surrender before put under house arrest and then silently killed a few years later.
