Such a blanket negative statement simply reads as ASB. Apart from the naval rivalry, there were not core issues for hostility between London and Berlin. They had a commercial rivalry, yes, but so did UK and USA and see where they have been for the 20th Century.
By the end of the 19th century the British had become accommodating to the US and did not consider the US to be a threat. It accepted the growth of the US Navy, but also believed that there were close enough ties that there would be no conflict between Britain and America.
The core differences are present in how Berlin and London governed. The government is dominated by conservative militaristic Prussia.
