As much as I dislike Bishop Ambrose of Milan, I can't underestimate his importance. He died in 397 at age 58, after being Bishop for 23 years (interestingly enough, he held no church position prior to this and hadn't even been baptized. Nor did he want the job). So what would be the consequences of him living until at least 407?

Why am I interested in him living until 407? Because, Ambrose was a key political ally of the Theodosians, and by extension, a key political ally of Stilicho, everyone's favorite Vandal magister militum. Being a key ally of Stilicho, I imagine Ambrose can have a great effect on Stilicho's OTL decline in political support, and ultimate fall from power. He had a lot of pull in the empire, and could have been vital to Stilicho's political prospects.
