During World War II there was an intense - and justified due to the war and atrocities thereby - hatred of Japan by the Allied Forces, by the United States but even more so by Australia (circumreference the Bombing of Darwin).

What if some faction of the Allies, most likely Australia with possible assistance by China, tried to carry out an anti-Japanese genocide? I believe that given the level of fear in Australia and the prevailing attitudes of the day that there could well have been such a Holocaust-type event that could have happened, but did not.

If such happened, what would have been the international reaction in the post-war, specifically, how would the world have reacted to such actions? What would have been the implications in Nuremburg etc? Would some of the Nazis have walked? Would Australia or whoever else have been embargoed or punitively invaded?
