WI all the male Bourbons minus Philip V of Spain died in 1712?

Suppose that every male Bourbons(including Louis XIV himself,OTL Louis XV and the cadet ones from the Orleans and the Conde etc) except for Philip V of Spain himself caught measles or some other diease and died in 1712? How will this affect the War of Spanish Succession?Does Philip V of Spain take over France as well and fight to the bitter end to preserve his rule over both kingdoms(let’s assume that he’s not getting another son for another ten years)?Or will a noble from another Capetian branch takeover?

Philip will probably renounce his Spanish claims for France and a partition of Spain may occur so no one gets to powerful.

Or perhaps he take one of his sons and goes back to France and he leaves one of his other sons as King of Spain under a regency. Remember, Philip V had three sons who became King of Spain. Luis I, Ferdinand VI, and Carlos III.

I made it such that his sons are either dead or that he only had daughters too,and he’s not getting a new son for another 10 years. He is the only male Bourbon between 1712 and 1722.

Does that include The Duke's of Orleans, the son, grandchildren, the brother of Louis XIV?

Yes.Every male Bourbon’s dead(cadet branches like Orleans and Conde included).Only one that survived is Philip V.
I can see some wars resulting in here. Can't wait to see what others come up with.

There’s already the War of Spanish Succession, and I can see the allies trying to continue the war longer but it’s not like the allied forces could conquer either France or Spain to eject the Philip V from either thrones either—unless nobles from either country decided not to accept him anymore.

The evental outcome of the war was that the thrones of France and Spain could not unite. So if Philip tried to replace Spanish throne for French throne, (which is legitimate to surmise), the Habsburgs in Austria are next in line in Spain. France, Philip of no Philip would not accept that possibility. So a war would continue. How might that all turn out?
