WI Alexius IV Angelus is Captured

So lets say Alexius IV while trying to flee the city with the imperial treasury gets caught and executed. As in otl the crusaders restore Alexius III to the throne. Even with the entire imperial treasury missing the Romans were almost able to pay the Latin's the sum that Alexius III agreed to pay them for their aid. So lets say with the rest of the treasury the romans are able to pay off the crusaders. Would this prevent the sack of Constantinople and how would Byzantium develop from this point foreword under Alexius III and Isaac II.

Damn, it's really hard to say. Although killing Alexius might only help (and quartering his corpse and burning his remains), crusaders might not relent. On the other hand, I remember that they weren't too optimistic about storming Theodosian walls otl. So paying them off might help them "move along". Although how much better Byzantium is thanks to this- it's hard to say. But lack of Latin states in Greece will surely help in the future.
