Basically as the tin says, what if Alexios had, instead of turning around when warned of the Crusader situation in Antioch at the beginning of the first crusade, doubled his efforts and arrives in time to relieve the siege. For his efforts, Antioch once again becomes Byzantine territory, allowing for further Byzantine control to nearby Tripoli and Edessa, while the areas south of Tripoli become Crusader territory.

With Antioch, Tripoli and Edessa under his control, Alexios is in a stronger position to lead his forces against Rum from the East.

What are the impacts? Will he be able to shatter Rum and swallow Anatolia as a result of the position he is in following this alt-First Crusade? What of the newly established Kingdom of Jerusalem?
