WI: Alexander killed in India

Ok, what if, during the invasion of India, Alexander the Great's army is surrounded and slaughtered by Porus's forces. Say Alexander and all his top generals are killed (Ptolemy, Seleucus, Perdiccas etc.) as is most of the entire Macedonian power structure.
So, what would happen? How would the empire deal with the collapse of the centre of power- with no Alexander or successors how would the dust settle?
Would we see a resurgent Babylon, Egypt etc.? Would pretenders to the Persian throne crop up? Please tell.

I think a number of the Macedonian commanders didn't go to India. Antipater was still governor of Macedon and Greece, so likely nothing changes there. And Antigonus was still in charge in Asia minor. Without competition from Perdiccas possibly Antigonus takes over the bulk of the Empire as he did OTL, just quicker, and never loses it as there is no Ptolemy or Seleucus. Likely without the main macedonian army to enforce their rule, big chunks of the empire will break off, but there would be some sort of successor states, just not as powerful as OTL.
