WI: Al Davis coached the Jets?

OK sports fans, another WI! In 1963 IOTL
two teams in the AFL- the New York Jets & the Oakland Raiders- had head coaching
vacancies. At the time one Al Davis of
Brooklyn, NY, was an assistant coach with
the San Diego Chargers. Though of course
the Jets are closer to Brooklyn than the
Raiders it was the Raiders who named Davis
head coach. Now, WI:

In 1963 the Jets pick Al Davis(not Weeb Ewbank as they did IOTL)as head coach.
How is pro football history changed?(For
example, will the AFL-NFL merger of 1966
still come off?)

Would Davis get to own the jets as he get to own the raiders as otl? would he become temporally AFL commissioner as otl? he would sign Namath and so on?

Sonny Werblin, the Jets' owner in 1963 IOTL
had had a long career in show business before going into professional sports. With
that kind of background, I can't see Davis
pulling the wool over Werblin's eyes & grab-
bing control of the Jets as he did to Wayne
Valley in Oakland. But what does everyone
else think? Opinions please!

Your format is weird, but well, he could slowly improved the team culture and create a winning culture like oakland otl, the big if would be like if OTL they're able to get joe namath as otl(maybe is possible as jets will throw out the money), that might make big changes...maybe Jets won Superbowl II instead III or won both with Davis? would davis become commisioner or just stay as head coach?
