WI/AHC: Perkin Warbeck becomes king?

The story of Perkin Warbeck, who claimed to be the lost son of Edward IV of England and after the Wars of the Roses attempted to invade England several times, is very fascinating and even tragic. He did not succeed, but there were certain instances in which his campaign looked promising. He was recognized as Richard IV of England and the legitimate heir of the House of York by several European monarchs and was supported by some in England itself as well.

What if he had actually pulled it off?

Well, he's already got a wife (a Scottish noblewoman, from the Gordons; her father's first wife was a Scottish princess, but the surviving records apparently don't make it clear whether this daughter was borne by that wife or by the second [non-royal] one instead), so heirs 'of the body' are reasonably probable.

Since the winners write history, a lot of historians for centuries will accept that King Richard IV was actually the second son of King Edward IV. Of course some people might argue that he was not what he claimed to be, however it would be certainly a minority, somewhat suspect opinion.
