WI/AHC: Mark Roosevelt in Political Office

A little-known great-grandson of Theodore Roosevelt who made a brief and highly unsuccessful run for Governor of Massachusetts in 1994 against William Weld. As far as I know, he's the only Roosevelt to have participated in politics in the last twenty or so years.

It's pretty difficult to make him Governor of MA in 1994, but he has a chance if he holds off another four to eight years, or he could move and pursue office elsewhere.

I would submit that the presidency of a college/university IS a political office. Seriously though, he's is an exceptional administrator; a visionary leader. We need more people like him in the education arena. Shuffling him into politics would be a waste of his talents and skills.
