As the title says, how would the Iazyges invade Rome in the same way that the Germanic tribes invaded Rome. The Iazyges were a group of Sarmatians (related to Persians) that had been pushed west by the Huns. They were friendly to the Romans at many points, with it going south in the 370's and eventually being conquered by the Huns.
My thought is to have the Iazyges ally with some of the more powerful Germanic tribes, combined with an earlier distrust of Rome back when the Iazyges are actually still powerful, plus the Huns making itself seem scarier. This, along with an more unstable Rome (maybe have Constantine start persecuting Christians again, or have a popular Roman-religion general take over, so you have a massive group that is angry with the current gov't), should be enough to allow them to migrate.
I have no clue where they would go (France? Spain? They aren't strong enough to take Constantinople or Rome without a far earlier POD), or what the new culture would be like. I feel like they would go Christian pretty fast.
What do y'all think?
