WI/AHC: Batavia/Malacca falls to rebellion

Can an anti-Dutch revolt (like the one supposedly planned by Captain Jonker in August 1689 to kill all the Europeans, or perhaps a joint Sino-native enterprise aided by Mataram) topple the Dutch stronghold in Batavia in the 1690s or so?

If Batavia does fall from the inside, how much an effort do the Dutch make to recover it? What will it take for the Dutch to accept their defeat?

Same questions for Dutch Malacca.

I'd guess a large estimate, since Batavia was Europe's main source of nutmeg IIRC, and thus the Dutch would lose a vast source of income.
