WI: Aftermath of an Alternate WWII

What if the United States never nuked Japan. Leading to a united Korea under Soviet Occupation and a Soviet Occupied Japan?

What happens to the leadership of the Japanese Empire? How does this effect the Cold War? Or the Chinese Civil War? Do the Democratic powers refuse to let the Republic of China fall?

The decision to divide Korea was made at the Yalta conference six months before the atomic bombs were dropped. If they bombs aren't dropped, The bombing, the blockade and the Soviet intervention will force Japanese surrender. tThe only thing that changes ITTL is that Soviets occupy more of China and there is probably an earlier Communist victory.
