On January 5th, 1916 Winston Churchill arrived in Ploegsteert as commander of the 6th Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers. While Hitler apparently enjoyed a slight lull in Bavarian army as he took this time period to draw his wartime paintings. IOTL, they are merely sixty yards away separated by trenches, and nothing in particular happened between them.

But what if Churchill decides to lead a trench raid, and that particular night, he and his company spot a German soldier who asleep near a recently finished painting that obviously made by him. Churchill ordered his men to muffle this Amateur German artist and capture him (and his painting) alive without causing much alarm.

And Hitler basically spent the rest of war as British POW. In may 1916, Churchill was granted permission to return to England. He resumed his political career and by the end of the war was a minister once more. As Churchill also enjoy his spare time as amateur painter, and this particular Austrian German corporal he caught is also a painter, and apparently a poor street artist by trade, Churchill decides to do a good deed and offers him work... As Churchill is a noble, and he think he could afford one more butler to work at his manor...

...

other things goes as IOTL to the end of the Great War...

So long story short, Adolf Hitler moved to Britain, to work as a Personal Butler for Churchill. Perhaps he worked diligently so Churchill end up promoting him as his trusted confidant and Majordomo...

so... what?

I wonder if Hitler would accept working for a former enemy? Though at this point he might be desperate enough for money that he'd have to say yes.

What made Jeeves and Wooster funny was
that Jeeves was smarter than Wooster.

The set up you have here is more like Jeeves and Baldrick, which isn't funny at all.

Oh I dunno . . .

"Herr Churchill, I have eine cunning plan!"

"Really, Adolf? A cunning and subtle one?"

"Jawohl!"

"As cunning as a fox who has just been appointed Herr Professor of Cunning at Heidelberg University?"

A Dream Fulfilled

Albert Hilter was happy and content. True Mr Churchill's genius as a politician was sadly not recognised by his nation but that was still the greatest nation on Earth, a proud master race who ruled the Earth. If there ought to perhaps be more awareness of the fact that those beastly Germans...

A moment's shivering terror, running hard towards field grey uniforms an urgent message in hand, explosions in the night sky, fearful men crouching in the trenches, He had to keep shouting to get them to move out of the way, he had orders from...

...and that beastly Mr Stalin too. Still it was not for a Gentleman's Gentleman to worry themselves about such things, the great man himself would persevere as he had told Albert himself he knew that one day he would be needed. For now what he needed was reminding to come away from that brick wall he was playing with and get himself in the bath and cleaned up of all that cement dust before Mrs Churchill returned home from her latest trip abroad.

All things considered life was pleasant for Albert Hilter.
