WI: ACW based/inspired stories and authors in a CSA TL

How could famous stories based on or inspired by the American Civil War be different in a TL in which the CSA succesfuly succeds? And how might their cultural impact(s) differ from OTL?

Examples being:

  • Louisa May Alcott - Little Women
  • Ambrose Bierce - The Devil's Dictionary, An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge, plus others
  • Lew Wallace - Ben-Hur
  • Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) - The History of a Campaign That Failed, Tom Sawyer, plus others.

Wouldn't most of such works simply not get written? The authors, if not butterflied into nonexistence, would still write. Just diffrent works. About other things.

With Mark Twain, things might stay the same, pretty much. He was a confed. volunteer for a short while, then headed west. In this ATL, does the campaign he's part of still fail? If so, he still heads west. If it succeeds, he might write about that, later. (Considering his stances in the OTL, a victorious C.S.A. would probably condemn his books. I can imagine him writing bitter, critical books about the C.S.A. while living in 'exile' in the U.S.A.)
