WI: A more Dutch United States?

So what would it take to make an alt-history United States more Dutch in culture? What would be the largest differences between *US and OTL US? Is this ASB? Could Dutch become the preferred language of *US, or is it only possible to have more of a Dutch flavor to American English?

If would be ASB to have Dutch become the preferred language of Untied States but it would be possible more Dutch words in American English. One word is common in OTL US(most in the Hudson Valley) is kill a Dutch world meaning creek maybe kill becomes American English for creek. New Netherland slaves had far more rights an in the English colonies. Slaves in New Netherland could bring a lawsuit testify in court, own property and earn a wages. Maybe Dutch laws on slaves become universal law thru out colonies thinking maybe a little ASB.

Hmm... Could there be a larger area of Dutch colonization in the Americas? Perhaps more Dutch flee to North America?

they already took lots of inspiration from the netherlands.
From what i understand the US declaration of independence drew heavily on the dutch declaration of independence that was written during the 80year war against the spanish.
And a few more things.

A more successful dutch colonization would make a bigger chunk of dutch culture much more likely.
Maybe getting the duke of albany (later james II) killed during his confrontation with the dutch (+ english defeat in it) produces enough butterflies to do that.

Als dat het geval was geweest, dan had ik gewoon Nederlands kunnen gebruiken op dit forum = If that were the case, then I could just have used Dutch on this forum. ;)

More seriously Dutch influence might have been a bit larger, OTOH given the Dutch cultural, economic etc. influence on our English brothers during the Dutch Golden Age, there even might be some indirect influence. Furthermore the ''daughter city'' New York (established as Nieuw (=New) Amsterdam) has in terms of ideals and ideas a lot in common with her ''mother'' Amsterdam.
