WI: A Marvel Comics Animated Universe is created instead of the DCAU

There were almost sixty of them in total:

:eek::eek: (Looking at the list, I can't think of a time there were more than about ten active at once...& that's counting two simultaneous JL books!)

Perhaps Iron Man takes the place of Batman here and try to flesh out his villains.
More likely to be Spider-Man ITTL.
Then we replace Superman with Thor
I see the Fantastic Four coming next ITTL.
lead up the formation of Avengers with Antman and Wasp meeting Tony, Hulk meeting Thor and stopping Loki while finding Cap and it goes from there.
The Avengers might get a series after the founding members make cameos in Spider-Man and FF first.
Instead of Static Shock, obviously Spider-Man.
This depends on if the Milestone/Marvel deal succeeds in 1995
Alternately, we start with Spider-Man, follow up with Fantastic Four and we use those to introduce the would be Avengers and then go from there with everyone else. Instead of Batman Beyond, we have Spider-Man 2099.
I should really read the full post before I post replies.
We could even have New Warriors instead of Teen Titans even if the connection would be nebulous (unless we have a crossover with Spidey).
As far as I know the Teen Titans were never part of the DCAU and even if it were the X-Men would be more likely to be the ITTL counterparts.
What happens with the X-Men in this world? Are we going to have it be an entirely separate storyline? Not have it at all? Have guest appearances by Wolverine and various X-men villains? Because the persecution of mutants combined with the presence of superpowered individuals is...complicated.
They likely will either take the place of the Justice League or not be part of the MCAU.
What's that, half the MU?:eek: Sheesh, doesn't anybody do a solo? (Not to mention, who are you fighting with IM, Thor, the Hulk, War Machine, Wondy, Vision, Wolvie, Hercules, and the entire FF on the same squad?:eek::eek: :eek::eek: )
Have you seen Justice League Unlimited? They had virtually every DC hero as a member.
I'm not sure about the Fantastic Four - this would be before they were mythologised and popularised by modern depictions, so they might not be a priority.
I see them getting their own series after guest staring on Spider-Man due to his friendship with the Human Torch.

Maybe someone could convince the FTC that Marvel's ownership of Heroes World Distribution is a monopoly of some sort.
And prevent the sale going through at all? That could do it. Once the sale's done, you pretty much just have to get out of the way of the avalanche.
