Wi a later Spanish armada

Not a chance. The royal navy ruled the sea at the time. The only navy constantly training for war, always having a reserve AND an active force, rotating them and thus always having experienced crews and officers.

The royal navy would bottle up the Spanish armada in its ports, where it would be unable to get the sea training it so desperately needs.

Toloun looks indecisive to me - the Spaniards being the only ones who lost a ship (captured, recaptured and then scuttled).

The 15-16th were Spain's best chance to conquer the heart of the Pink Blob. Even in the parts of the 17th they had a shot. By the 18th, they were playing a spoiler role, more than anything else.

An interesting battle in which the french squadron avoided engagement with the british leaving the spaniards alone, who made the british retreat with the loss of one ship that was recaptured...

Battles are not only won when someone is crushed.

What if the Spanish Armada attacked England in 1736?

Why 1736? Does that mean 1588 didn't happen at all?

On a side note, there was a second armada scheduled to support the Jacobites in 1719, but guess what... it was driven back to port by another storm!
