This is kind of inspired by my Ottoman Caliphate thread (link: https://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/wi-kemel-doesnt-abolish-the-ottoman-caliphate.392985/). From what I've read the Treaty of Sévres was by far the harshest treaty of the Paris Peace conference, and this is including the Treaty of Versailles. So my question is this: what if the Allies thought it through and signed a fairer Treaty with the Turks, more along the lines of the later Treaty of Lausanne? Would such a treaty lead to a surviving Ottoman Monarchy (ie Sultan of Turkey) or was the House of Osman doomed by that point?
