WI: A different three-way Cold War PoD.

Most three-way Cold War PoDs involve a PoD during the Second World War resulting in Germany surviving.

How about Britain and France opting not to go to war over Poland in 1939?

Germany TTL has the boundary established during the German-Soviet partition of Poland in the east (Soviet Bialystok and the Bug and San rivers making up the boundary otherwise) and in the west has the historic pre-WW2 boundary.

Given how Hitler wanted a war, I think he'd need to make a nasty fall and be replaced by someone like Goerring who'd opt to just sit on what the Germans have already gotten. Given Stalin's incredible cautiousness, I don't think he'd initiate a war with Germany.

Without a war in the west, there is no Winter War as bullying Finland is a riskier endeavor here.

Yugoslavia is likely divided as it was historically. Germany's bloc is comprised of Finland, Romania (minus a Soviet Bessarabia), Italy (plus Montenegro and Albania), Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Spain.

Without a fall of France Japan won't be invading French Indochina. However, I think they Soviets might ultimately drive them out of mainland asia and possibly force them into a relationship comparable to a mix of OTL Finland and OTL East Germany.

Scandinavia tried for a defense union historically immediately after WW2. It ultimately failed as Sweden said Finland could only join with Soviet approval (which they could not get) and the Swedes thus opted for neutrality as Denmark and Norway joined NATO.

Outside of Europe, I'm sure Germany could find more friends.

Italy had an agreement with Yemen in 1926 in which they supported their claim to Aden. India might be pro-Germany. South Africa seems rational (possibly resulting in a split between Natal and the Union when South Africa becomes a republic?). Syria could perhaps end up pro-Germany under the sway of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party.

In Latin America Germany would be able to find friends. One of Fidel Castro's early idols was Mussolini, interestingly enough. Peron's Argentina comes to mind as well.
