WI:A different Edward III

What if Isabelle, his mother has been loyal to his father, what would be the effects of it to Edward III, what would be the effects of a more happier childhood to Edward III.

You would have to change the temperament of Edward II. Even before his ascension to the throne he had his favorites. You would have to make him a stronger, more authoritative king, that was what attracted Isabella to Roger Mortimer. He was everything that Edward was not..

I think a more tamer Isabella of France like her descendant, Isabella II of Spain, would also work, I think Longshanks and Edward III would benefit if Edward II was more straighter than OTL.

Edward personally, maybe, Edward as a king seems to be as successful as one could ask for until he got old.

Referring to Edward III.

The butterflies might have some interesting effects if one wants to run with them, but it would be changing details in the hopes they add up to something.

Edward I might feel more confidence in his son, which may or may not matter in his lifetime - its not as if Longshanks was unsuccessful.
