WI: 1993 World Trade Center bombings collapse both buildings

Looking at some of the predictions of those killed, those numbers are close to the number of Americans killed in World War I or Vietnam, and could exceed those killed in the Korean War. If you think the USA was angry after the 9/11 attacks, that many dead will produce an even more pissed off US population.

I think Pres. Clinton would do a better job of forging an alliance than the second Pres. Bush did. Clinton might even enlist the first Pres. Bush as a special ambassador-type. I don't remember, was Colin Powell in the Clinton Administration?

He was the "12th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff" until September 30th 1993.
 
Whatever else you might think of Clinton he was neither stupid enough or clueless not to order massive retaliation. My guess is that he would be as pissed as everyone else not have to be egged on too much to go after those responsible.
