WI: 1980s Gangster Film Remake Craze

What if "Scarface" had set off a trend in Hollywood during the 80s (likely into the 90s) of remaking Gangster films from the Golden Age of Hollywood? For example, Joe Pesci in "Little Caesar". There were a lot of good Gangster films from that era as it was, and it was the prime time for so many actors we're familiar with in the genre.

Robinson, Bogart and Cagney are key names in the Gangster Era movies, and all made better movies in other genres.

Top o' the world, Ma.

I loved those old movies so I'm drooling at the thought of this
