Why not more Valencian separatism?

Catalonia has long pushed for independence from Spain. Why has Valencia not done the same? It's settled by Catalans, so should have similar levels of cultural differences from Castille. What could make them push for more separatism, either to support the idea of a single Catalan state, or to be separate from Catalonia but be its own country?

I'd guess the area felt more advantage in being Castile's Med outlet.
Much depends of the timeframe you are talking about.
The kind of cultural difference you are referring to was never politically relevant in Europe in any systematic way before around 1813 (give or take, I thin it is a good date for this, but of course it was a long and nuanced process) unless there was a political structure that upheld and supported that cultural difference already there.
I doubt Valencia had such a thing for most time.
