Why do people believe that the revival of Greco-Roman civilization in Italy happened in the Renaissance? It seems to be true that it happened in the High Middle Ages. The Pisa cathedral is a fine example of Roman revival built during the High Middle Ages. It is very ornate. It proves that people knew how to design the columns. There so many columns in the Pisa Cathedral that people made it themselves. There were so many of them. Why do people find anything special with the Renaissance when the revival happened during the High Middle Ages. Here are some examples to back up my claim.
