My pick is Theodore Roosevelt as he was made of awesome. A Chuck Norris of his time. Not even a bullet in the chest could stop him from delievering a speech. No big corporation is safe from his giant club.

I'm gonna have to vote for Emma Goldman as well.

The 20th century wasn't really a good one for leaders. Lots of corrupt ones.

Pre-1900: Jesus of Nazareth. Seriously, he organized around 12 rubes into intelligent, theological people. And then he started a religion that currently has around 1 billion members- and counting.

Post-1900: Hmm, Adolph Hitler comes to mind. He was just so beneficial to Germany- until he lost World War Two. Ronald Regan then.

Well, admittedly I didn't read up too much on it, but my school history books made a big thing of how he wanted to go back to the "old days" and boycotted British factories (himself, he lived in a collective and dressed in mediaeval clothes, though he was an educated lawyer).

Yeah! There's a comic book based on her life you know? It's a great read, and it's very well done.
