A'ight then, on a serious note. When did Nixon's family move to California? I don't think not moving necessarily precludes him from participating in politics.

Hot damn, found some about Nixon's father. He moved to California after he suffered a bit of frost bite. He didn't meet Ms. Mulhous until his move there, and his conversion to Quakerism came afterwards. We just butterflied Nixon completely away
