Alright interesting, and La Consolatrice Stuart?

if Philip does end up as King of Naples, would he be dictating his own marriage policy, or would that be the realm of Versailles?

If he's a prince du sang? Versailles. If he's king of Naples/Spain, probably the princesse des Ursins as OTL. Kill her off - or just never let her attach herself to the royal household to start with (she later ended up at the Jacobite court, so maybe she winds up there from the get-go rather than going for a Spanish holiday).

And what of La Consolatrice?

Alruight interesting.

And was simply wondering who La Consolatrice was, if its Louise, she was never born as James II died in 1687 here.

If I was Louis XIV, the only way I’m allowing a non Bourbon to inherit Spain is if I get the non Iberian European lands (Naples, Milan, Spanish Netherlands) as compensation since that dowry was never paid.
Louis can not do this if Maria Antonia has an higher claim than his son. At the best he can claim money or some lands as compensation but he has already accepted who Margarita Teresa and her heirs have a better claim on Spain...
He can ask any of Milan, Naples, Sicily, Sardinia or Spanish Netherlands but nobody will accept to give him (or Philip) everything.
With Maria Antonia alive Naples and Sicily for Philip is a more than suitable compensation for the dowry
