who should marry Arthur of Brittany

There are many brides for him, who should he marry?

Joanna, Countess of Flanders b. 1194

Joanne of Burgundy b. 1191

Marie of France b. 1198

Beatrice of Sicily b. 1194(Female Frederick II)

Assuming he maintains his alliance with Philip against his uncle John (the POD being that he isn't captured), then the French match makes sense.

That said, given Marie was only ~5 when Arthur died they'd have to wait a decade or so to wed, during which the political could change sufficiently that the betrothal is broken off (e.g. John could alienate his barons such that Arthur nabs the Kingdom of England, at which point Arthur and Philip will now be rivals over English possessions in France rather than allies against John).

Either Marie or Joanna. The others offer no advantage.Marrying the heiress of a kingdom so far away from France or England is just silly.I don't think Burgundy offers much help either.
