Who does the black prince marry if things don’t work out with Joan of Kent

So even though the black prince was one of the most eligible bachelors of medieval Europe he only got married at the age of 31 to his 33 year old cousin Joan, the Fair Maid of Kent, one of the most beautiful women of her day in what is commonly thought to be a love match. But what if things don’t work out between those two? Like say Joan feels that a 33 year old widowed mother of 4 is not the best person who should be going off to be princess of Wales and continue the royal line with the heir apparent or Thomas Holland lives a lot longer and Joan tells Edward not to wait for a marriage that might never come. So the black prince goes to his father and asks him to finally do it and arrange a marriage with a girl that would be a great boon for them and strengthen there position relative to there rivals.

Who would be available for such a match and what would be the best one to chose strategically? Would it be the Marie the only daughter of John II who wasn’t married off already? One of the daughters of the great families of aquitaine to solidify control of there newly expanded sovereign duchy? Or someone eles?

Oooh Maria of Portugal!

@Zulfurium and I spoke once about the daughter of Ludwig V of Brandenburg by his Danish first wife as a possibility for the Black Prince. It seems unlikely, but she would be the granddaughter of an emperor as well as the king of Denmark. There's no DoB given for herwhen she is mentioned and most sources neglect to even mention that she exists, simply describing Ludwig V's first marriage as "childless" or "without issue".
